WALKING AROUND VEGAS

For my last semester of college, I took a photojournalism class. Considering the events that have occurred in the past few months, this is the last assignment that I will do in my college photography career. The project theme was a sense of place, and I chose, of course, my hometown Las Vegas.

SLC TRANSPORTATION

I wanted to highlight how much time it really took to take UTA TRAX home from school. There is a gradient over the whole piece going from light to dark to illuminate how scary and dark it can get as you get closer and closer to your final destination.

FIELD OF DREAMS

I feel like this project shows the importance of Habitat for Humanity in the community. I think it is important for people to realize how important this project is to the community. It isn’t just the loud construction site that wakes you up early in the morning. Through my photos, I show the volunteers and how they are helping to build these houses.
